Tour A2023: Heritage and Dhaka City Tour


Suggested Itinerary:  3 Nights / 4 Days : 


Day 01-Night  01:

Arr. Dhaka Hazrat Shahzalal International Airport.  Meet and welcome guests and transfer to Hotel and Overnight at Hotel in Dhaka/Uttara.

 

Day 02- Night 02: Dhaka – Comilla (B)

Morning leave Dhaka for Comilla 2-3 hours drive. Visit old Panam Nagar buildings were constructed during 19th century and famous Grand Trunk Road was built during 16th century and Sonargaon village about 29 km from Dhaka was one of the oldest capital of Bengal  as well as the capital of independent Sultanate of Bengal during 13th century. Also visit old Buddhist ruins at Mainamoti in Comilla about 96 km from Dhaka City, Comilla was the seat of a Buddhist civilization that flourished from 7th to 12 Century AD. At about 8 km west of Comilla Town as many as fifty spots have been marked of which some have been dug out from under the soil of a range of low hills known as Mainamati - Lalmai Ridge. The excavations of Shalban Vihara, Vasu Vihara, Ananda Vihara, Kotila Mura, Charpatra Mura, Itakhola Mura and Rupban Mura have immense archeological and cultural importance especially in the field of studies of Buddhism. There is also a museum with a collection of historical artifacts found at the excavation sites. A visit to the World War II Cemetery at Mainamati where the bodies of 753 soldiers of the allied forces along with the bodies of some Japanese soldiers are lying in unforgettable. The  Saptadasha Ratna Temple ( 17-towered temple built in the 17th century by Maharaja Ratnamanikya II of Tripura) located at outskirts  of Comilla Town, is also worth seeing. Back to Dhaka and night stay.

Day 03-Night 03: DHAKA (B)

After breakfast Star City sight seeing tour in Dhaka city as per time permit.

Dhaka- Capital City: Founded in 1608 as the seat of the imperial Mughal viceroys of Bengal. Known to the world for centuries for its fine silk and Muslin. As the capital of Bangladesh it has grown into a busy city of trades, business, cultural and sport activities. Having a happy blending of the old and new architectural trends, Dhaka has been developing fast as a modern city since the independence of Bangladesh in 1972.

City sightseeing: Visit Sadarghat waterfront, the Ahsan Manjil (Pink Palace). After visiting the Star Mosque and Dhakeswari Temple, Shaheed Minar, New Market and Parliament building (as per time permit).

 

Day 04: (B)

After breakfast free time and check out for departure to Airport.

Good Bye with happy returns of the days.

Booking and Payment:

01. Payment made in USD or equivalent of BDT to our designated Bank by Western Union/TT To as per Invoice. Without payment package not confirmed.  Remit charge will be born by Guest account.

02.Minimum 50%of the said payment required to book a tour and rest the 50% should be paid before the commencement of the tour.
03. If the payment is not paid in time, booking is interrupted or automatically canceled. 

 

Payment Terms:

Travel/ Tour Package should be confirmed in written by mail or Fax with acceptance by counter mail. Mail validation will be on date and time of receive and fax validation will be confirm as return acknowledgement by recipient.  Generally payment should be made before 3 months (90 days) or 1.5 months (45 days) before the mentioned arrival date, but it also be changed if mutual understanding in written. Without (full or part) payment of International (inbound-outbound) package not confirmed for any services.
